> ENTER NAME. Your name is Mica Warrick, and you're so relieved to have found this website. Loose replaying is hell, even though you only had one session of it. About a year ago, now, you and your three best friends decided to play a game together. That wasn't anything new; you played lots of games together, from tabletop to MMOs. But Sburb would prove to be beyond anything you could've imagined. It was actually fun, the first time. Sure, the death of your world and all your guardians was horrifying, but there was plenty to distract you between your planets and the dream moons. Entire worlds with mythologies and arcs created specifically to help you grow as a person! You loved coming into your own as a Seer of Law, even though you never godtiered. You and your friends ended your quests after defeating your Denizens, believing that was all there was to the game, and marched forth to defeat the Black King and claim the Ultimate Reward. Of course, the door didn't work. You had to choose "play again." You thought maybe you hadn't completed your arcs thoroughly enough, that it would just set you back to the beginning with your friends and you could work on becoming an even better Seer of Law--but no. You were thrust into a world you didn't belong in, with people you didn't know. They were all the same as you--they had completed Sburb, maybe even two or three games, but hadn't been able to claim the reward. You met a boy, dazzlingMasquerade, who wanted your help figuring out how to use his new aspect of Law. He broke your heart and laughed it off. You became a Page of Dreams; this time, you did godtier, but you wished you hadn't once you had Risen in your ridiculous transparent speedo. When the door failed to work again, you almost broke down. In your third session, though, things changed. You met aliens. You learned about the networks. No one knew how to escape the game, but they could at least keep in contact, sharing survival advice and giving moral support to each other. Playing as Breath managed to get you to loosen up a little after all the structure of Law and Dream, and you got really attached to your coplayers. You didn't want the session to end. But it did, sending you through the door again into yet another session. Now you're the Bane of Doom, and you're eagerly looking into some of the more occult aspects of Sburb. People keep warning you about corruption, but that's ridiculous; you're perfectly fine! |
