There comes a point in a SBURB players life where they realise that hey, y'know what? This game really, really sucks. Like, if there was a universal rating system for the level at which something can suck, SBURB would be up there at the tippity top rank. There'd be a little picture of a sad face next to it, and an arrow, and that arrow is pointing at an annotation that also reads "this game sucks". That's how much it sucks.

That point in a SBURB players life, assuming they've lived long enough to get there, is when they finish their session. You walk on up to those pearly gates, open up that beautiful door, walk on through, and- yep, you guessed it, you're in another damn session with a bunch of people you don't recognise and no idea how you got there. You've just encountered the worst glitch in SBURB history - the one that won't let us leave the damn game.

But it's not all bad news and frowny faces, although a lot of it is. SBURB Unofficial Fansite Forum is a forum, surprise surprise, created by the players for the players. Because if we've gotta be stuck in replay hell for the rest of our lives, we might as well yell at each other on the internet about it.

okay, well, moving on from the arguing i'm gonna gush about how much i love the way derse looks.

first of all, purple is basically my favorite color ever. the whole moon gives off this noir (pun intended) feeling that makes me wanna put on a trenchcoat and start smoking cigarettes. also, the dersites are so gruff and remind me of new yorkers when i used to go down to the city.

i absolutely adore all the libraries on derse. according to my server player prospit has all the cutesy bookshops and boring stuff like that, but derse has these huge libraries with elegant architecture and a truckload of information. i never thought i was the type to gush over libraries but here we are.

also, my derse seems to have 50's themed diners. is that a constant thing? seems a little strange to me but i'm not complaining. they make a mean milkshake.

The vast majority of Derse not directly affected by player action and prototypings tends to be constant, but there is variation. Saves on genlines or something.

Oh my gosh you found the diners. Seriously the food there is amazing. Orator Rialto/Ortolanly Ricercar/OR at either the Verballistic Auditorium of Derse or the Concert Hall of Derse cuz he travels between them and various diners to listen to performances and sometimes be part of them, and even hangs outside sometimes so you don't need to do either entry quest to get him. Also a pretty hefty eater so find him and make nice if you want to find the cheap but good restaurants. Don't expect to mooch leftovers the man is thorough but if you do him one of those cheap randomgen favors and be a conversation partner (yay quest advice) at dinner he'll buy you a salad or something, which is a good thing to do when your house is devoid of alchemically decent food because he's an early-access near-freebie.

Aivar Hakim/Arraigning Himation/AH that no-fun workingmens' doctor will usually shout at you if you stay too dreamdrunk on derse, especially if you ever got a good night's sleep post-awakening, so he usually seems annoyed at Time players because they spent time before they got actually dreamsober somewhere in the past. However he usually gets a ladder or something to pick you up and get you sent to your tower so he's a relatively nice guy unless you've attacked Derse's lower class and given him much work.

Venomous Skater at the Maltese makes a mean milkshake indeed. Just don't annoy her or you'll get the most irritatingly frustrating talking-to ever until you heed her advice to get out, unless you can bribe her to shut up, which is not a thing you can do for most of Prospit's chefs btw.
