I'm bored, so here's a game we can all play. This thread runs mostly off the aspects-to-aspect and aspect-to-aspects spinoff theory with a side in polyaspectual overtheory elementalism and ringbalancers by default, but you can propose your own theories about how everyone's favorite swirly overlords came into metabeing. Propose your theories, then explain them in relatively simple terms using ~math bullshit!~ if possible!
For example, my overarching theory is that once a concept or group of concepts crosses a certain point of metaphysical intensity/relevance it groupsplodes down into a more coherent group of aspects that then subdivides or crosses over to create further aspects. However, fine maths are not exactly applicable due to the nature of how aspects encompass multiple concepts and can be applied differently.
Space and Time are treated as initials, as well as possibly Void and thus Mist, seeing as those concepts are expressed in the Furthest Ring balance fairly normally as if to say 'yeah we're here, even weirdly'.
Everything all together so far at any given point + the idea of 'more' (Coins?) OR Space+Mo'Space =Mist
Space - (components of space relative to matter and some but not all portal elements, i.e. space that is not space) OR any combination that results in a 0 or negative = Void (Conceptual emptiness but it doesn't seem to eradicate time as well as it does space and does seem to have a spacespace of its own so we'll assume it removed out of space)
Space + Void = Breath; destruction and removal but existing hard with enough remaining net that something can be done; air from remaining matter type?
Space + (components of space relative to matter but with less radioactivity) - Blood: Connection/fortification of matter
Space*Time or a derivative of some combination of space and time = Flow: Rate of change
An operation similar to Flow but netting a different result = Rhyme; status quo
And so on and so forth.
Actually here's a good time to introduce the other part, concept groups of aspects
Fundamentals; essential/initial element category: Space, Time, possible others
'Matter-Emotion': Aspects which have a concrete footing in both a physical element form that could logically be found in a nonmagical consensus presession, and an associated meaning usually only at tangent but provides a specific-enough thinking style. Some of these are pairs and some aren't: the obvious like Might and Breath
'Magic-panoply': Aspects heavy on the 'this doesn't manifest in a normal universe the way it does in Sburb' and a wider/general emotive context: Heart, Rage, Joy, Self?
'Narrativium-band': Aspects in a narrative panop: Flux, Sight, Ploy, etc.
aaagh basilisks just go ahead
