"There are other things to look into. Actually, has alpha-you ever actually perma-killed anyone, or has Lillian stopped you each time?"
You were pretty sure you knew what the answer was - and that's what intrigued you. If the answer was no, that she hadn't - what if actually killing somebody and regretting it was the only way for her to move past it?

"Define 'anyone'." she asked. "Hell, define 'alpha-me', I've doomed more than once with the intent of offing you all before Lils can say no. But the way I think you're thinking? No, though that shines badly on what you think defines people if it's what I think it is."

"No, I'm wondering what would happen after you got your first alpha-kill. I've not met any doomed version of you, so I don't know how they each reacted. I also don't see how killing could be so important to you when you - this you - has never done it."

"Honestly, I'd probably love it and then feel awkwardly sorry afterwards when people brought it up after helping me and then love getting to destroy everyone who liked that person that I could, it's like an addiction. I don't know why, I just started idolizing breaking things and hurting people the more permanence the better when I was little and I never wanted to stop, even though I pretty much had to after Lillian came up, and then Sburb just made it so harmless about getting to blast the masses..."
Julie's pose seems to become ever so slightly less sluggish, as if she's awkwardly mimicking someone else. She speaks in a slightly different voice, also as if awkwardly mimicking someone else.
"The sad part is that she's not lying. She's really fixating on it." Lillian says with Julie's body, waving a hand as if 'Julie ffs you're weird'. "It's so damn creepy to watch an instant replay of someone getting killed and then seeing her make a happy face like she'd just won her own universe and then she looks up and her eyes go white and she starts crying as she realizes what's almost entirely 'damnit now I can't break anything anymore' and not at all 'oh god I just killed someone and enjoyed it'."
Julie seems to blink and then is back to herself (albeit under a triple Rhyme anvil of 'don't kill people'). "Lillian's right, I really did love it every time, and all of those of me are still just me under the hood, just like all of them are still you give or take however long it's been since they each split off...you know. It's so weird to NOT want to blow you up."

It was... more screwed up then you had expected, but in hindsight shouldn't have been all that surprising. She was one goddess away from being a serial PK. Maybe even an effective one. Your face went from intrigued and concerned to grim. You turned off the light that made your irises appear orange, causing them to be black for a moment. "So then tell me why I shouldn't kill you where you stand."

"I'm not entirely opposed to that idea." Lillian butts in with. "Should I tier her and chuck her ringward or do you want to kill her yourself?"
Shaking off her mistress and slaver Julie legitimately thought for a moment. And came up empty, unsurprisingly.
"You know, I don't have the foggiest idea. I'm a complete monster. But that raincloud isn't going away anytime soon, so I'm just a boxed weapon with a good targeteer behind her."
She shrugs.
"Also you should probably finish off her realself too if we're going for the kill option. Hell, you can do the tiering honors if you wanna just chuck her out." Lillian butted in again. "I can dismiss 556 and the Secret Gentleman if you don't want that fight either!"

Having Lillian speak through Julie was a little unsettling, but it wasn't like you didn't do it via Adam on the chat all the time, even if he was just transcribing. "No, so long as Julie's under your controls, we're safe. Besides, all she needs is one good Heart Player to turn her core towards something less omnicidal."

"Guess that's settled then." Julie said boredly, Rhymely disconnected from the talk of her own potential execution. "Shall we take responsibility for the opponent agency and save the royal guard a few losses?"
She beckoned towards the exit.

"Shit, right. Yeah. Let's go." Your eyes lit up again with colour. Your focus on Julie had pretty much caused you to forget that AN existed. Which wasn't exactly fair to AN. Adam, thankfully, alerted you. "Oh, uh, AN, you coming?"

Ben finished reattaching the disco ball to the ceiling. "Oh sure!" He said, "I think I've fixed most of the damage I caused."
Grinning sheepishly, he hopped off the glass ladder he had conjured and followed the girls.

"Alright, let's go take out some agents. Or, y'know, start screaming when one goes ringwraith." You had meant to make that last part sound like a joke, but it ended up coming out fairly seriously. You loosened the kill-reduction on TG, just enough so she'd be able to fight against the two Agents.

"I'M BAAAAACK!" the great evil muse declared. "We'll slay those beasts of Derse!"
She shrugged, floating after the group. "Alright, where are the little buggers?"
She scanned the distance for signs of two Dersites among the Prospitian scenery. Say, carnage. Do we see anything?

Ben looks around the scenery and notices nothing, but hears the faint sound of running down a side alley.
Running over there, he sees a shadow disappear, and thinks that it may be one of an agent, but he didn't know for sure.
"Hey guys, which way is the palace?" He asks.

"That way! We're almost there!" Julie says, noticing...oh dear god headless Prospitian corpses.
"Oh my god, that sick monster!" Julie comments fairly casually for an exclamation point while apathetically pointing at the open palace gates. "Who the hell leaves this much perfectly good carapace meat around and only eats the boring part?! We've got to destroy those agents in the name of efficiency!"

After only a quick glance at the carnage, Ben took off towards the palace enterance. He didn't make it very far, however, as he tripped over one of the aforementioned corpses.
"Well shit" he mumbled to himself.
