Mica grew more and more nervous as they approached the session barrier. Oh god, how did he look? He hadn't exactly had time to groom himself any after that huge fight--he hurriedly began trying to smooth his godtier outfit and comb his hair with his fingers. It didn't help that no one else was talking; the silence was deafening.
He took a sharp breath when Fred finally came into view. Wow, just... wow. A small chill ran down his spine as TG said something in broodfester, and a much larger one shook him at the indescribable sound Fred made in response. He stared as TG dropped off her stuff, biting his lip as he tried to take in the eldritch mass of tentacles. He kind of wondered what it would be like to touch them, but... he couldn't risk going grimdark when he still had to go back and join the rest of his sessionmates.
He jumped slightly when there was suddenly something familiar amidst the tentacles, calling out to him. "U-um... Hi, Fred. Nice to meet you to," he said nervously. "So, uh... This is me, in the flesh, instead of... whatever it is I am when I'm dreaming in the bubbles."

As AN speaks, your troll body servitor facepalms. Your main body facepalms, or more accurately it briefly beaktentacles in several different places, including your relative 'front'. Your troll body stops facepalming, flies over the short distance to the barrier, and knocks on it while sticking his tongue out at AN for a moment, proving it for him is a physical obstruction that will not let him inside without being destroyed first, or at least significantly softened by probably more specialized pounding and hackings than this session has time left. But then Mica starts talking and you feel a lot better. Your main body sort of giggles, a deep and hard to describe noise that's somewhere between chaotic music and a more standard squiddly rumble.
"Nice to meet you in realspace too." your troll body says to Mica, a bit awkwardly. "You're just as awesome, don't forget that."
Julie slaps down AN's hand and looks at him with a face that pretty much says 'did you really just try to handshake a horrorterror dude no you're not that stupid snap out of it' for a moment before returning to Not That Useful Barrier duty.
Oh. Right. You were talked to by someone else, so it's only fitting you address them too. You turn to AN for a moment and strike a slightly sassier pose than 'awkwardly really liking someone and being a bit nervous about that'.
"One of the core rules of polite negotiation with Others in realspace," your troll body says with an eyeroll and counting the things on hands, "don't make contact unless you're in for the long haul, don't touch them unless you're also really in it for the long haul, and especially don't offer a gesture that could be interpreted as sealing a deal in such a way that it concludes negotiations unfavorably for you unless you've got the best you can get and you are seriously in it for the long haul. Also the barrier's real and stuff, I can't just waltz in without getting this thing broken. You've just got some weird whitish stuff in your soul, maybe near the physical node by where eyes go, as best I can make out, I'm not a Heart hero yet."

Of course Ben had to try to be polite and touch the HorrorTerror. Yea that would have been spectacular.
Nonetheless, Ben wasn't rebuffed even slightly by the minor breach in etiquette, but soon became throughly confused. "White stuff? Dude you're making no sense. I haven't even been near an Angel since last session. There's no way."

Your troll body makes an expression that pretty much says 'you sure about that?' followed by one more along the lines of saying 'goddamnit one of my friends' favorite sports stars is injured this is going to be an a bad season' in approximate intensity and emotion and level of concern, though it comes across more as a 'um that's sad ok seek medical help 4 ur issues bro'.
"...Maybe it's just a deep packet left over for future vulnerability purposes, or something like those blasted Hymns." the you were using says with a shrug. "If part of it's still too deep to get cut out by the replay, try eating a weird bug or something in case that knocks it loose and find a Heart player."

Hearing that strange, otherworldly noise Fred made was fascinating enough on its own, but knowing that he'd made Fred make that noise? Now that was really wow. It was really real--he actually had this unfathomable, godlike being who liked him and cared about him. And had just said he was awesome. He went a bit pink, fiddling with his glasses in his embarrassment.
"S-so, uh, would you mind holding onto this for me until I... join up with you for real?" he asked, decaptchaloguing the staff FC had made for him and shyly holding it out. Anything else he'd alchemized could be made again if he really wanted it, but this was one of a kind.

"Sure thing." You said with a smile. Julie dropped the superfluous barrier and let Mica hand it over unimpeded and you took it.
"Anything else before we go?" Julie attempted to momentkill with. "We're clearly not sticking around here long if we ended the sess early. This was a business visit for me."

Mica grew even more nervous as Julie dropped the barrier, and he held out the staff for Fred to take. If he wanted to, Fred could just snatch him up right there, avoiding the whole contract phase and making him a Speaker (the scariest part of that being he wasn't entirely against the idea)--but no, Fred wouldn't do that, obviously. He exhaled as Fred withdrew with the staff. Next time, he'd be the one going with him; next time.
And then Julie ruined the moment. Mica sighed and looked over at her. "Yeah, I guess that's it. We should be getting back to the others, and... saying our goodbyes, I guess."

"See you soon, I guess." You said. Weren't entirely wrong, right? Aslanning your soons to the last.
Julie wardrobified back to the casual clothes she wore on entry with the power of pluck-wasting time travel going somewhere else to change and then zapping back, and tossed the last cards of equipment your main body's way where they were recaptcha'd. Once everyone left, you would probably go back to bubbles and darkness. Nothing much to do here.
...Still, you guess collecting and decayfreeing treasure was a thing to do, and you set to work ensuring that staff wouldn't be lost to Skaian whimsical impermanence first and foremost.

Satisfied, though slightly disturbed, Ben waved goodbye to his friends and flew back to skaia. On the way, he began to cast dream abilities at random, his sort of ritual for ending a session.
He finally arrived at the platform, a string of glass creations and could a of buffs strewn behind him. "So long, guys." He whispered as he reached for the handle of the door.
There was a flash of light in a color that was beyond comprehension, a feeling of moment in every direction at once and then Ben saw the screen that every replayer saw at the end of every session. His field of view saw nothing but a button, with "Play Again" carved elegantly into it. Taking a deep breath, Ben pressed it. Ben was-
Ben was in a house.

You didn't even have the chance to say your goodbyes to AN before he bolted through the door. Your rhyme experience had you waiting for a little bit longer before you were going to go through, plus you had to say your farewells. You first addressed TG.
"It's been fun, Julie. Please, please try not to kill anyone if LC ever goes AWOL."

...You were Julie Lamarck, and you sort of regretted letting them go. Perhaps if you could care about...No. You took responsibility, and that shit ended. Job complete. Be the assassin you want to be. Don't think, don't bother.
"Yeah, it was a fun ride, I'll try to keep down the murderous urges." you say, beginning to soften to put back up that cute facade you kept up at the beginning of sessions to try not to set anything off unfavorably while you couldn't act, of a comedic cannibal whose harmful intent was properly sealed rather than bubbling just beneath the surface.
Still. The very idea made you uncomfortable inside, that you for a moment cared, and you hated that. You loved that look of despair on their face, that shock and rage and horror at what just happened...all of that gore, far too much. You did not respect their feelings, and you never would, so help you Skaia.
But that little fold in your shiny so long ago had become natural. You were not in the mood to grow away from it. At this rate the Skaian agenda would latch on and say 'lol do this kiddo'...ugh.
...
"So..." you start hesitantly. "Any more goodbyes, or are we just gonna leave?"
You wait.

You turned to WL, and put out your hand. "Mica, fearless leader. It has been an honour to serve." You smiled as you spoke. Unnecessary formality coupled with honest truth - it reminded you a little of the AI that had been with you for so long.

The flight back to the platform was quiet, and by the time Mica finally arrived, landing right after Julie, AN was already leaving. "W-wait--!" Mica tried to call out, but it was too late; AN had already selected the dreaded "Play Again" option. He drooped a little, but tried to perk up again when Jenny addressed him. Oh, fuck, his eyes were watering. He'd been the one driving for an early ending to the game; why was he still sad about it? "I'm gonna miss you, Jenny," he said, bypassing the handshake and going in for a hug. "I'd probably be dead or Ring candy if it weren't for you. And that staff is... I'm gonna keep it forever, literally."
He pulled away and sniffed before looking sternly at Julie. "You'd better not make me regret not killing you," he said. "No taking any innocent lives okay?"
He gave his goodbyes to the other members of their party, and then... Well, there wasn't much left to do but restart, right? But as the leader, he wanted to be the last one to leave, so he waited for the others to go first.

"Alright, alright." you lied casually. "See you in bubbles someday. I've got some last things to wrap up before I go. Please, go on without me. Goodbye, I'll haunt your dreams if I can."
You said your goodbyes and flew away from those people you'd probably never see in the waking-living world again, and away from that awful lying house door that you'd have to go through again anyway shortly.
You had something to speak of with the denizen of Space now that there was finally time, and no pressure until the decay scripts came. A minor chat between spirits of elements to plumb dialog trees for lore that didn't exist and at the end, ask for a very simple favor of just talking.
