WL: Hey, Will? Are you okay? GT: yeah GT: just feel like kind of a dumbass for basically suggesting to kill someone? WL: Well I mean... As long as you don't actually try to do something, it's fine, right? GT: i dont know. i just have really conflicted feeling about her GT: like, on the one hand i didnt realize how deep it went. but, on the other hand, i still feel like i can help her GT: even though i just met her WL: I don't think anyone can help her GT: i guess i kind of have a hero complex or something GT: but, on top of that, shes been talking about working together on stuff WL: She has? GT: yeah, its what we talked about on the beach WL: What stuff? GT: i... dont know for certain WL: Well what did she say to you? GT: stuff about... becoming the most powerful in the session GT: quickly rectified by "other than me" WL: I wouldn't trust the power she's offering, you don't know what kind of ties it could come with WL: You don't want a repeat of your Deal, right? GT: i dont know GT: in any case, i think shes gone awol for the time being. WL: Well that's a little worrying GT: idk i think i made myself look like a psycho WL: I don't think you looked like a psycho! WL: Especially not in comparison to the actual psychos in our game GT: i guess. GT: hey, maybe we could tag-team co op our land quests? GT: might get both our minds off of this. WL: That sounds fun! Active and passive classes pair well for that stuff GT: i need to get climbing the godtiers and unlocking abilities i should already have GT: if you want we could work on your land first. i'm not really ready for my own land yet. WL: Okay! Though it's a little creepy here GT: my land is shrouded in fog that refuses to touch me WL: But I guess spooky is fitting for our aspects, with Void and Doom, hehe GT: probably so GT: so when should i head over? and uh, which one is yours again? WL: You can come over whenever, I'm not busy! It's the Land of Bones and Dust, though even though its name is LOBAD it's not so bad, hehe GT: i guess i'll grab my stuff and head over GT: you know when i came here i transported my entire planet in this new wallet modus i made WL: Wow really?? GT: yep, ht told me how to make it GT: omw now
Mica closed out of the window so that he could focus on finishing off the underlings he'd been fighting. Computer glasses with voice-to-text really were convenient for passing the time while grinding. Though it looked like soon, he'd have some company to have real conversations with while fighting.
He sighed as the last imp died off from his poison attack. He was worried about Will. After everything the guy had gone through to get here, Mica wouldn't be surprised if he had some serious issues he was dealing with, especially the stuff he'd said online just now. Hopefully, he'd be able to help Will work some of it out during their time together in this upcoming Unbreakable Union.
The ebonpyre cleared out for the time being, he stashed his staff back in his strife specibus and headed back to his dwelling spire so that he'd be there when Will arrived.

Will closed his laptop and slipped it back in his fetch modus. Looks like it was finally time to get underway with some quests. He decided he wasn't really feeling the godtier outfit. While it was growing on him, he wanted something a little more him. And by a little more him he means a leather jacket he would have never worn back on Earth.
He knew that Mica wasn't sure what to make of him. He hoped that by becoming better friends, maybe he'd stop worrying so much about him for the time being. Plus, he was interested in Mica's guidance down gaining aspect abilities.
Satisfied with his change of clothes, he made his way to the nearest exit and felt himself grow weightless as he directed himself upwards. Flying was slowly growing easier for him, but it had helped that he had completed most of the Flying Lessons on Derse. Except for quest 16 and 17, those were far deadlier than he's anticipated.
The land of Mica's was rapidly filling his field of vision and he swooped down, scanning for the sign of the first of his new coplayers that he had spoken to. He thought he saw a spark of flames, and he dove towards it. This time he'd managed to come to a skidding halt on his feet, rather than his face.
He stood up straight, brushing his jeans off. "Hey there."

Mica was slightly startled by Will's abrupt landing, but he managed to laugh it off. "Hey to you too," he said in greeting, flashing a smile. That leather jacket must have been the one Will had talked about alchemizing; he'd have to get a look at the back of it to see if there was really a goose emblazoned there.
"This is going to be exciting! No one else has come to my planet yet, except for when Jenny helped me, uh... But yeah, no one's really gotten to see any of it besides my dwelling spire here, I can't wait to show you around!" he said, beaming up at Will. "Do you want to walk, or fly? 'Cause, um, in case you wanted to fly, I maaaaade... this." He pulled a broomstick out of his sylladex and brandished it. "Uh... I know it just kind of looks like a normal broom, but it can fly. Like in Harry Potter!"

Will stared blankly at the boy who was spouting information at an ungodly rate. He must have been hopped up on a few pots of coffee, ore been a very good Light player. He had barely registered Mica's question on method of travel before he had the bristles of a broomstick up his nose.
"Easy there speed racer." Will said, pushing down the broom, but still smirking. "That's really cool by the way, I loved Harry Potter. But, I guess it depends on where we're going first." He got the feeling that Mica really wanted to fly, though.
"What's the first step, boss man?" You ask, hefting your axe over your shoulder.

"Speed racer"...? Oh no, had he been babbling? Mica flushed in embarrassment, stammering out, "Um, s-sorry, I'm just kind of excited, it's--it's been a while since my last Unbreakable Union." He lowered the broom, clutching it closer to himself.
"Well, u-um, there's a fetch quest I got a little while ago to retrieve something from a dungeon, but when I went to find it, I couldn't figure out how to get in, even though I met the requirements... My--my aspect symbol's off to the side instead of centered, so I figured it was just a glitch, but now I think the blank spot is where the Void symbol voided itself out, meaning I need to have you with me to take it on." He looked up at Will, hoping it sounded like a good idea.

"Er... what's an unbreakable union?" It was his turn to become embarrassed. Either this was more SBURB-stuff he was still too inexperienced to understand, or Mica was being -very- forward about something. He figured it was most likely the former.
"But yeah, if there's a dungeon you can't get into, I'm probably the solution, being the Ender-of-Secrets or whatever." He hopped up and hovered a few feet, excited to get something done. He spent far too long trying to survive and not enough time getting done what this game was supposedly all about. "Which way is it, then?"

Mica's eyes widened with surprised. "O-oh... Oh! I'm so sorry, I had assumed you already knew and that was what you were thinking when you asked if we could quest together, um..." He brushed a strand of hair back from his face, embarrassed again. "An--An Unbreakable Union is when two players quest together to take advantage of the audience effect for roleplay bonuses. At the end you get to learn a move called a [Unite Synchronization] that's like, um... a non-fraymotif powerful combo move." He looked a bit worried. "Um, does that still sound like something you want to do? You--you have to get to know each other pretty well, and I know some people prefer to avoid forming bonds in this game..." He fiddled with the handle of his broom, feeling silly for assuming that Will would already know about these sorts of things when he had only been a few weeks into his first session.

"Easy, easy." Will held up his hands, "you had me at 'combo move'." This guy was really a nervous sort, Will thought. He'd have to make sure he doesn't make him feel more nervous or agitated about things.
"Doom and Void.... let's call ourselves 'Team Spooky'. No.... I'm sure we'll think of something." Will flashed a grin at Mica, which he never did, but he wanted to show him that he could relax. "Lead the way boss man."

Mica visibly relaxed after Will's reassurances, returning his quick grin with an earnest smile. "I feel like a name like 'Team Spooky' would make people think that Annalise was on it," he said with a laugh. "Maybe, like... Team Endings? Since Doom and Princes are both about things ending. Though I guess, Ben is also a Prince..." He shrugged.
"The dungeon's not too far from here," he said, swinging a leg over his broomstick and lifting up to hover in the air. "Let's go!"
A short fly later, the entrance to a dungeon came into view, and Mica landed in front of it. All of the symbols on it were lit up, except for the spirograph noting that you could enter. As soon as Will came into range, however, the spirograph lit up (as his aspect symbol would have, if it hadn't been voided out), and the door rumbled open. Mica beamed.

Will stared impressed as the entrance to the dungeon slid open. He met Mica's gaze and went giddy with anticipation. He swapped his axe with the gold-and-marble shotgun he also kept in his strifedeck and entered the dungeon first, gun held up at his shoulder as he scanned the darkness.
"You know, I never liked playing the heavy-hitter or the tank in RPGS." Will said over his shoulder, "But here we are." He took another step into the dungeon. He couldn't really tell what the place looked like yet, though.

"Well, I never used to trust my coplayers and tried to do everything myself in roleplays... Landed me with a passive tactician role my first time, haha," Mica said, pulling his staff out of his strife specibus. "Active/passive pairs like this are supposed to be the best for unbreakable unions. One to take charge and head the attack, and one to support and cover them."
He followed Will into the dungeon, blinking as his eyes adjusted to the dimness. He was greeted with the sight of a large room that had a few different levels of elevation thanks to an uneven floor and some platforms. The door on the other side of the room looked like it required four keys to be opened, and another look around the room showed an imp around each of the four corners, all appearing to be holding something. "Well, let's get to work, shall we?"

Will didn't stick around to hear Mica's final sentence, he was already booking it straight for the nearest imp. He vaulted over the uneven floor and slid baseball-style, putting his shotgun back into his specibus. He wouldn't need that just yet. He came out of his slide and threw his fist into the imp, sending it flying into another.
"Let's party."

Mica watched in excitement for a moment as Will dove right in, punching out an imp with his bare hands--wow!--before springing into action himself, dashing to the side of the room opposite of Will and casting [Dead Shuffle] on an imp. He levied his staff, and greenish acidic fumes began to materialize around it. A thrust in the imp's direction, and the toxins fire straight at it, poisoning it from the inside out and chemically burning it from the outside in. It died after only a moment of sustained fire, and Mica paused for a moment to relish the rush of renewed Doom strength from the sacrifice before running up to grab the key it had been holding.
As easy as the underling had been to dispatch, he was a little disappointed, though; it wasn't as quick as it had once been, and he didn't feel quite as strong as he had before... FC had hugged him. He knew it was probably just because he'd stopped making use of the small boost from shadow majyyk, but... He sighed and marked the fourth imp with [Dead Shuffle] as Will took care of the first two.

The room was filled with grist, and Will set to recovering his share of it. "That was impressive." He said to Moca, in response to his poison abilities. Will refrained from using his aspect powers, he didn't feel he needed to on imps. Things had to get harder at some point.
"So, what should we be looking for here?" He asked, folding his arms and observing the room. "Maybe we have to flatted out the floor?"

"You were more impressive; you're like a superhero or something," Mica said with a small laugh. He walked around to collect the rest of the grist, having to hop onto or off of ledges a few times to reach it all before heading over to the door.
"I think we just need to four keys the imps were holding--first room, so the puzzle's easy," he said, holding up the two keys he'd collected from his imps. He turned to slot them into a couple of the keyholes. It looked like they'd have to figure out which order the four should go in, but that couldn't be too hard.
