THE CUTEST EVER
CARAPACIANS: Also known as "Dersites", should they live on Derse, and "Prospitians", should they live on Prospit. Typically referred to by their initials, such as BQ and WQ for the Black Queen and White Queen. All Carapacians are able to become Exiles, but some are far more prone to it than other. When a Carapacian becomes an exile, their name changes but their initials remain the same. Many Carapacians can also be hired to act as in-game companions, although some are far tougher than others.
DERSITES
BQ - Black Queen: Queen.
BK - Black King: King.
JN - Jack Noir: Archagent.
CD - Courtyard Droll: Agent.
DD - Draconian Dignitary: Agent.
HB - Hegemonic Brute: Agent.
HK - Hadron Kaleido: Retired Agent. A player favourite, hailed as "cool" and "crazy" in the same breath. She has jetpack and a bed, and can be used to get into Liquid Negrocity jazz club to meet Derse agents. She vaguely knows everyone on the moon.
AH - Arraigning Himation: Doctor. Yells at dream-drunk people on Derse if their sleep ratio stays bad for too long. Acts as convenient dreamself re-locator for people who have a habit of falling asleep on rooftops, but not politely.
AM - Accordion Mistro: Busker. He's a general expert with his accordion, and knows Song of Life for every crystalanth instinctually.
AR - Authority Regulator: Regulations officer. Ensures that people don't have things that they shouldn't have.
BB - Brutal Brutus: Hustler. Mafia themed guy rooming with ET. Acts as his enforcer.
CC - Celestial Constructor: Veil manager. Repairs Veil labs and ensures that players cannot sabotage Derse's military production easily, even if BQ is deposed. Incredibly good at evasion and retreat so it's hard to kill her.
CH - Culinary Harbinger: Pastry chef. Official mascot of the Derse Fanclub, and will often produce unique baked goods for official members.
DA - Dersite Archanist: Bishop. The guy who administrates the cathedral at the end of the squiddle road from the middle of the dream tower band. Does eclipse services and has a bunch of tomes about elementary shadow magic, which is basically card tricks, purple firebolts, and a few 'look shadowy and get tiny benefits' techniques, but nothing useful past extreme earlygame.
DR - Dersite Reporter: Chief Reporter of the Enquiring Carapacian. Records all the players' quest actions. Working with him can net a Medium-area GPS-Google-Earth hybrid thing for finding locations. He offers paper route quests, which are what mail quests should be: special deliveries without any crazy psychotic fighting of godlike beings attached.
ET - Enterprising Trickster: Banker. Offers loans to the shady side of Derse. Owns a bank and house that is also a battleship.
FM - Floral Master: Florist. She has a flower shop near the Chain of Derse and makes bouquets for making romance quests go more smoothly.
MU - Magnificent Usher: Usher. A truly magnificent usher, who works at the Derse Concert Hall.
OR - Orator Rialto: Musician. The fat man who sings. Travels between and hangs around outside Concert Hall of Derse and Verballistic Auditorium of Derse plus a few diners. For a randomgen minor favor can become a dinner partner to show players all the good and mostly-cheap restaurants on Derse and will even buy people salads.
RN - Rancorous Noblewoman: Jewellery saleswoman. Rooms with ET, sells functional/magical jewelry and other trinkets in his bank. Like RO and SP, she is part of the holy trinity of carapaces who make naughty statements when exiled.
TC - Tyrannic Souschef: Head chef. The best chef, to the point where she is somehow head chef on BOTH moons. Has a crush on Jack Noir that can be found by snooping through her belongings (this will most likely get you killed). Physically a Prospitian.
VS - Venomous Skater: Malt shop employee. Makes the delicious milkshakes (and other food) at the Maltese 50s-themed-diner. Verballistamina through the roof so she can seriously wreck people in arguments at the counter, but can be bribed to cease verbal assault after annoying her. Also good at skating and poisoning people as the name implies.
WS - Walter Statley: Psychoanalyst musician. Hangs out at the Derse Concert Hall. Psychoanalyzes Sarabandes from the maturity quest arc and offers 'about how done it feels' services, but is more of an asshole about it than Peter Oscillo.
WV - Warweary Villein: Once a soldier, now a farmer.
ZW - Zealous Warden: Battleship guard. Prevents people from stealing all the good battleships from Derse without having to go through him first. Typically, he is considered on par with a higher agent in terms of strifing abilities. Think Authority Regulator but older and grumpier and stronger.
PROSPITIANS
WQ - White Queen: Queen.
WK - White King: King.
MT - Mobius Trip: Retired agent. A player favourite, hailed as "cool" and "crazy" in the same breath. He has jetpack and a bed, and can be used to get into Hot Gossip disco club to meet Prospit agents. He vaguely knows everyone on the moon.
AT - Agitated Cook: Cook. Watches over most regular cooking for the WQ and prevents most efforts to sabotage her food. Has an omnidirectional glare power, and guards the legendary White Queen's Sorbet (the best naturally occurring food in the game) when in transit, so it is usually best to either ask WQ for permission to captcharoid camera her dessert or do so sneakily.
BS - Baby Sitter: Babysitter. His official work uniform always has a big "BS" on it. It's pretty funny.
FN - Fanciful Nurse: Nurse. Knows basic Life abilities. Usually on Battlefield by default but can be called to either moon randomly or if someone important gets hurt. She's hirable for a direct fee so she can syringecannon enemies and patch up players if found and hired.
GB - Giggling Baker: Baker. Makes exploding flour cakes and non-alchemy-based lifecakes. Has a machete, binoculars, and explorer hat for exile situations.
GL - Garrulous Lunk: Weightlifter. Overly talkative idiot. He has a romance quest with Lovelorn Knitter but the dynamic is a tad dumb. Hangs out in the Prospit gym.
HL - Humble Loremaster: Librarian. Hangs out in the Prospit library shelving books and doing librarian things.
LK - Lovelorn Knitter: Professional knitter. Known for being cheaper than Ms. Taylor, with a far more casual "shop" - which is really her sitting on a rocker outside. Has a romance quest with Garrulous Lunk but the letters they send each other are horrifying and probably not a good idea.
MF - Ms. Flower: Florist. She has a flower shop near the Chain of Prospit and makes bouquets for making romance quests go more smoothly.
MP - Ms. Paint: Artist.
MT - Ms. Tailor: Tailor. The girl who makes Prospit dreamer clothes alterations. Can be hired through gifts of flowers, although she should be given a decent needleKind so she can defend herself better.
PC - Pastry Chef: The sane balance between Tyrannic Sous-chef and Giggling Baker, works with both of them. Makes WQ's tarts.
PK - Painter Knight: Knight nd part-time artist. Knows a selection of weak basic Life/Dreams/Rain abilities. Hirable if you paint a picture of him and get it in the Museum of Prospit.
PM - Parcel Mistress: Postal courier.
PO - Peter Oscillo: Psychoanalyst musician. Hangs out at the Prospit Concert Hall. Psychoanalyzes Sarabandes from the maturity quest arc and offers 'about how done it feels' services.
RO - Rosy Operator: Barmaid. A carapace lady who runs a bar somewhere on Prospit in case you want to go back to being dream crazy for the night. Tends to get exiled and start giving lewd commands.
SP - Strumpet Priestess: Priestess. She follows the Demimonde Goddess and can summon adventurers. Potential follower in the form of being a hireling. Sometimes generates as a Dersite for unknown reason. Known to be particularly rude when exiled.
TG - Tome Guard: Librarian. Runs the deposits desk at the Prospit great library so you can contribute works or donate your books to session and intersession (via replication signal) sharing. Guards the romantic fanfiction of players section but is easily bribed with books from player houses, which will be shared with the rest of Prospit. Will give people essays if given bad literature.
TN - Tome Navigator: Librarian. Studies and governs the oldest tomes in the Prospit Library. Very hard to find as he usually lurks in the deepest and dustiest parts of the Library. Hirable if found - but only by Pages for some reason.
TS - Tyrannic Souschef: Head chef. The best chef, to the point where she is somehow head chef on BOTH moons. Has a crush on Jack Noir that can be found by snooping through her belongings (this will most likely get you killed). Physically a Prospitian.
WG - Warlady Gretchen: Prospit moonside commander. She's a guard/rook model with a Prospit's Shine in a flowerpot as part of her helmet, who leads the defense of Prospit if attacked but not instantly destroyed.
YP - Yokel Peruser: Art critic. Though he spawns on Prospit, he tends to move around Lands through unknown means. Has basic Dream and Sound abilities. Wanders around investigating consort arts and informing dream moons of events on-Lands that aren't noticeable from said moon. Offers hints with quests when hired as a follower by showing him some fine arts.
